In Search of Purpose

I seek a destiny invisible to my eyes
And inaudible to my ears
A place I must go to be fulfilled
For which I was born

I seek a cause to complete
To commence and conclude
A reason to be weighed by fate
No matter the outcome

I seek a name to be made
Fame to be claimed
To be remembered by
Those unborn

I seek a place to own;
My own mark on history
I will seek, I will search
I will find… my purpose
